Shoe master Nora Harald now designs and manufactures Thyra Gorm -shoes in her cobbler\u2019s workshop located in Katajanokka, Helsinki.<\/p>\n

Harald offers fine, hand crafted, made-to-measure shoes and custom leather goods. All products are available from her workshop as well as her online store.<\/p>\n

Materials<\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]T<\/span>hyra Gorm collection\u00b4s shoes are manufactured using the best and the safest leathers, thinking about nature and sustainable development. Upperleather is full grain vegetarian tanned leather which is strong but flexible enough to adapt to your feet just after using your shoes a few times.<\/p>\n

There can be slight differences in tones and colours between hides. Leathers are bought only few times a year to receive a fresh consigment from the leather factory.<\/p>\n

Upper leather has been tested and it is free from harmful substances and it is proved to be 100% organic. Shoe lining is also vegetarian tanned and free from harmful substances. It is strong, colourfree, pleasantly neutral leather that feels smooth to wear.<\/p>\n

Most shoe components are attached with environmentally friendly water diluted adhesive. Solvent based adhesive is for example used to attach rubber outer sole.<\/p>\n

Care instructions<\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]U<\/span>se thin insoles and change them when needed. Let shoes rest and freshen on a shoe tree between times of wearing them. Shoe trees are recommended to be used daily. Store well cared shoes in a cool and dry place, inside a fabric bag or in a box.<\/p>\n

Wipe shoes clean when necessery with a damp cloth. When leather feels dry, apply a thin layer of colourless leather cream onto shoes\u2019 upper leather, sole and heel edges. You can apply more cream after the rst layer has dried and absorbed. Avoid applying too much cream and note that it makes the leather look slightly darker.<\/p>\n

Wet shoes need to dry on a shoe tree in a room temperature. Shoes are wearable when they are completely dry and treated with a leather cream.<\/p>\n

Replace rubber half soles and heel parts at your cobbler\u2019s. Outsole needs to be changed when the rubber is worn close to the original leather sole and heel. Shop and delivery conditions<\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]T<\/span>hyra Gorm \u2013shoes are fully handmade after several work stages. Delivery time is from 2 to 6 weeks. Delivery time is affected by eg. multiple orders at the same time, vacations, condition of the shoe machines and other reasons like the entrepreneur\u2019s state of health.<\/p>\n

For the payment you may order an invoice by e-mail or you can come to the shop and pay with cash\/payment terminal. Payment need to be paid before we start to manufacture your shoes.<\/p>\n

Thyra Gorm \u2013shoes uppers are full grain vegetable tanned leather and each hide has variations in colour and tone compared with the photos in the webshop and Thyra Gorm example pairs. Hide is a natural product and small visible insect bites or damage caused by barbed wire can be visible on the surface of the upper leather. Postal parcel
\n<\/strong>Sending Thyra Gorm -shoes by post we use Finnish postal services and orders will be delivered to your address. Delivery time outside Finland is 2-10 days depending of the destination.<\/p>\n

All prices are displayed in euros (EUR) and include 25.5% VAT. Items shipped outside of the EU are VAT free. Please note that additional customs, duties and brokerage charges may apply depending on the destination and will be collected at the time of delivery. Haraldin Kenk\u00e4 t:mi is not responsible for these charges. Your placed order represents a purchase order to Haraldin Kenk\u00e4 t:mi. Payment methods<\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]After the order is delivered, the customer will get an incvoice by e-mail or the payment can be made at the shop in cash or with a payment terminal.<\/p>\n

Invoice by e-mail is sent within a day and the payment time will be one week (7 days).
